Welcome to Oamishirasato City !!

　Oamishirasato City is located in the southern part of Chiba Prefecture, almost at the center of the Kujukuri plain, and about 60 km from Tokyo. In addition, it adjoins with Chiba City, the prefecture capital. Narita International Airport spans a distance of about 40 km. Oamishirasato City is about 14 km from east to west, and about 7 km from north to south. The area of city is 58 square-km.　In addition, it possesses natural features, which are rich in nature. The green-rich hill section lies to the west. In the center is the immense rural section, and to the east is the beautiful seashore.
　The land is suitable for warm climates. Its annual mean temperature is about 15 ℃.
　Oami Station is located in the western part of city and is the intermediate station of the JR Sotobo Line. It is also the starting point of the JR Togane Line.
　From Oami Station, it takes about 60 minutes to Tokyo Station, and about 70 minutes to Narita Airport Station.
